Donate essential items to those in need

1. Here is a list of drop-off centers accepting all essential items: water, food items, bread, peanut butter, jam, fruits, blankets, clothing, emergency supplies, pet food, etc.

   2. Koreatown YMCA Center for Community Well-Being: 433 S. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA; doors close 7pm
   3. El Camino Real Charter High School: 7401 Shoup Ave, West Hills, CA The Regent Theater: 448 Main St, Los Angeles, CA; accepting donations during concerts through the weekend, now until January 12.

Help animals

Animal shelters in LA have issued an urgent plea for fosters and adopters to take pets from their crowded shelters. This will open space in shelters for displaced animals and pets. Here are some ways to foster/adopt an animal:

   1. Their adoption fee has been waived through January 12th. Here are their six locations:

   • The American Red Cross is working alongside its partners to provide shelter, food, emotional support and health services.

   • The L.A. Fire Department Foundation is seeking monetary donations to equip firefighters battling the wildfires with items including emergency fire shelters, hydration backpacks and wildland brush tools.
